There is a moment in the life of a man who has owned Bitcoin for a while when he realises the coin cannot buy him a drink, cannot pay the landlord, and cannot be handed to the woman at the counter of the shop. It has to become money again. That moment came for me on a Tuesday with a bank balance that looked like a joke somebody told badly.

So I went to sell Bitcoin at Paybis and cashed out to my debit card here https://paybis.com/sell-bi... . Here is the whole performance. Start a transaction, Bitcoin to debit card. Enter the card number. Send the BTC to the address they give you. Then watch your bank account, because most transfers land quickly, though some banks take their time like they always do.

The screen told me exactly what I would receive before I sent anything, which is the only reason I trusted it. They take up to twenty thousand per transaction. Regulated in the US, Canada and the EU, running since 2014. Verification is required, so have your documents ready if you have not done it already. And if you get a message saying the card cannot receive payouts, ring the bank, because it is their fault and not yours.

One thing they will not tell you and I will. Work out what you owe in tax before you spend a penny of it. The money is not all yours and the tax man does not care how tired you were.
