Later, he gives the option to Arjuna to choose either Lord Krishna himself as an advisor for battle or use his arms for war. Arjuna picked Lord Krishna as his advisor and charioteer. In terms of picking as his counsel, Arjuna showed his dedication and loyalty in his friendship with the lord.
